Facility

Our 4,000 square foot facility is one level with no stairs.  It consists of a full size kitchen, eating area, crafting area, 6 bedrooms with 6 full bathrooms, and a large back deck that also has an eating area.

Kitchen/Eating Area
There is a stove/oven and an additional oven, refrigerator, microwave, air fryer, crop pots, pots and pans, utensils. etc. Also, a coffee area with a Kureg and traditional coffee pots and a snack area with a drink cooler/refrigerator. Plenty of counter space. 

Crafting Area
This area consists of 1,000 square feet and can comfortably accommodate 15 people.  Each crafter will have a 6 foot table, rolling office chair, light and trash can.  There is an area that will have cutting machines and various paper crafting tools, an ironing board, a cutting table and design walls. There are plenty of outlets.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms (there are more beds than you need -you only need 15 beds - 13 below are bottom beds several of which are king or queen beds)
Bedroom 1: One queen bed and two sets of bunkbeds with single beds - Walk in shower.
Bedroom 2: Two sets of bunkbeds - Both - Queen bottom / single top - Walk in shower
Bedroom 3: Two sets of bunkbeds - Queen bottom / single top and Full bottom / single top - Shower/bathtub
Bedroom 4: Two sets of bunkbeds - Both - Queen bottom / single top - Shower/bathtub
Bedroom 5: Two sets of bunkbeds - Both - King bottom / single top - Shower/bathtub
Bedroom 6: One Queen bed and a bunkbed - King bottom / single top - Shower/bathtub

All include linen, towels, and bath cloths.  The main area and Bedrooms 1 and 2 are controlled by one heating/cooling unit. Bedrooms 3 through 6 have individual heating/cooling units.  There are many ceiling fans throughout the facility and in bedrooms. All bedrooms have TV's and there is WiFi and YoutubeTV throughout facility.

The picture below shows the crafting area as it is now with the Central Alabama Fowl Preserve as we serve breakfast to as many as 70 people on Saturday mornings (October - March.)  We also plan to change the flooring throughout the facility in April before the retreat opens in June 2025.
